We've made the PDF versions of the magazine available in a number of places so if one link isn't working for you there are others you can try. Here on the onlinepagans.com website you can find a list of previous issues and links to download various formats in the Archive. Another place outside the onlinepagans.com site where you can find our magazine for free is at Scribd.com where issues are uploaded under my username there, bgruagach.

The quote, "Hatred never ceased by hatred, but by love alone is healed." We can't be nice every day of our lives, but it is better to be positive than to fight negativity with surliness. So at work, I just try to be as peaceful as I try to be everywhere else, and I try to engage people in civil and loving conversation. That has gone a long way toward making things better for me, on so many levels.

I like what you say here - especially about finding aspects of our own beliefs in the religious images of others. That goes a long way to healing pain we might have that has been caused by religiously intolerant people. Instead of hating or avoiding it, finding a way to love it is best.

Dear brothers and sisters of art,

I come here to present the Union Wicca of Brazil.
We are an association that brings together several priests and priestesses, so that together we can end the negative image of our religion, as well as provide a record of Covens, priests and priestesses for those seeking knowledge.

Soon we will have other language version of our website. Enjoy and make your entries and close partnerships with the Union Wicca of Brazil.

Our address is: www.uniaowiccadobrasil.com.br

Blessed be

I would like to add a new and very personal book to the ones you've listed. "Faery Tale, One Woman's Search for Enchantment in a Modern World", by Signe Pike is a lovely read about a Manhattan book editor's quest for faeries and earth spirits around the world during a period of grieving and loss in her life. It's well reviewed, and I'm sure it's available on Amazon. I enjoyed it thoroughly, even though I'm not much involved with the Good Folk generally. I don't lack belief, but after reading this book, I understand the power of commitment when entering into such a relationship. This is something which is not to be taken, or discarded lightly. There are always consequences to our actions, whether good or ill.

Thanks for the kind words! And thanks for the info on the updated versions of your books. I'll have to hunt them down and read them.

Happy solstice! (Thinking of your warm Australian December as we shiver up here in Canada.)

The fact that Christmas/Yule has all pagan beginnings is why I have no trouble celebrating it! I like the "good will to all men" part, the tree(s), the food, and occasionally the gifts, but seen from a strictly pagan perspective, and it's very ancient beginnings, I do have a good chuckle every year.

My witch doll, and statue of the god and the goddess rest comfortably with my Christmas garlands. I have to concentrate on the beauty and true meaning of Yule instead of the atrocities committed by the followers of "Christmas".

We rarely exchange gifts due to financial issues, but this year we gave each an old pickup we needed badly. We could not be happier.

Thank you so much for this thoughtful and interesting piece.
